As opposed to invoking the name of Roger Zelazny, Brust was instead praised by him. This is a compilation of three books in a series of at least 9. It tells us the story of Vlad Taltos, a great schemer, mercenary and boss. Really a great series, I recommend it, and hope to re-finish it before I leave.
