Eenglish 2.0 is my attempt to make our language better than it it. English 1.0 has Way too many special cases<\/a>. We all memorize so many things when learning consistant rules is Much simpler. So here is Eenglish 2.0. Please help me make it better. I’m most concerned about my diphthong choices.<\/p>\n

Eenglish 2.0<\/p>\n

The problem with english is that it has too many special cases. We need to make it consistant.
\nThe alfubet:<\/p>\n

Abcde fghij klmno prstu vwyz<\/p>\n

Q and x have been removed.
\nHard c is replaced with k: Cat -> Kat
\nSoft c replaced by s: Recess -> Reeses<\/p>\n

C is now chee: cheese -> ceez<\/p>\n

G is always hard – good<\/p>\n

Soft G and J sounds are now j: Religion -> relijun<\/p>\n

Q replaced with kw: Queen -> Kween
\nSoft x replaced by z: Xenophobia -> Zenofobia
\nHahrd x replaced with ks: Taxi -> Taksi<\/p>\n

Ph is no longer f. F is f: Pharmacy -> fahrmusee<\/p>\n

Silent leters ahr inefishint, kounter intuitiv and yooseles. Thus wee no longer inklude enee silent leters – febuary – wendsday or perhaps, wensday<\/p>\n

Silent letters are inefficient, counter intuitive and useless. Thus Eenglish 2.0 does not include any silent letters: Wednesday -> Wendsday<\/p>\n

The Vowels<\/p>\n

A – cat<\/p>\n

E -head<\/p>\n

I – pit<\/p>\n

O – hoe<\/p>\n

U – mud<\/p>\n

U as in dude replaced with oo – dood<\/p>\n

The diphthongs are what I’m most torn over. There are problems with using these diphthongs, and in fact I believe I am going to include symbols such as the oomlaut(sic) to dictate vowel specific pronunciation.<\/p>\n

Difthongs<\/p>\n

Ou – as in cow – kouc<\/p>\n

Oe – replased with o – to<\/p>\n

Ai – high<\/p>\n

Ae – replaced with ay<\/p>\n

Eu – ew sound as in good or should<\/p>\n

Examples:<\/p>\n

Mountin<\/p>\n

Prezident<\/p>\n

Superfloous<\/p>\n

Wimin<\/p>\n

Er\/est<\/p>\n

Everything can have er or est appended to it. Good\/gooder\/goodest is correct. Best still legal<\/p>\n

Plurals<\/p>\n

Add an s or es. Fish\/fishes. Sheep sheeps. No goose\/geese, mouse\/mice nonsense<\/p>\n

Tense<\/p>\n

Past – add a d or ed<\/p>\n

Run\/runned<\/p>\n

Swim\/swimmed<\/p>\n

Drive\/drived<\/p>\n

Eat\/eated<\/p>\n

Future – add an l or il<\/p>\n

Eat\/eatil<\/p>\n

Adverbs<\/p>\n

Add ly<\/p>\n

Well replaced by goodly<\/p>\n

Quick replaced by fastly<\/p>\n

Numberz<\/p>\n

1 – wun<\/p>\n

2 – too<\/p>\n

3 – three<\/p>\n

4 – for<\/p>\n

5 – fyv (faiv?)<\/p>\n

6 – siks<\/p>\n

7 – seven<\/p>\n
