Gaiman mentions Zelazny in his “For” section, which instantly gave me pause. Zelazny is one of my favorite authors. He can twist plots into knots in ways few others can. It was an omen, though I wasn’t sure if it was good or bad. Either this book will fail to live up to Zelazny’s legend, or exceed it.<\/p>\n
Chapter one starts off strong. I’m not sure if I’m just ridiculously intelligent, or I have alot of experience dealing with mythological creatures, but I caught onto a few things I’m not sure I was supposed to just yet. I don’t want to spoil anything, so I won’t say what, but talk to me after you’ve read it (by the way it’s because of my ridiculous intelligence that I HAVE alot of experience dealing with mythological creatures).<\/p>\n
The character development is strong, there is substance to the plot. It keeps me wanting to read and I’m not sure what’s going to happen next. Better get to chapter 2.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
